In 2020, ToyMan Media LLC was born out of a real-world pivot. When the pandemic hit, founder Toyance "Toy" Coleman found himself at a crossroads. With a deep background in theater, the stage had always been his calling—but suddenly, a new digital spotlight was opening up right behind the lens.

As a Kansas City native living out in Florida at the time, Toy decided to blend that performance energy with his hometown love for serious barbecue, launching Toy's Food Chronicles. He kicked off an organic campaign right before the debut, and when the channel dropped, the response was immediate.

But the real magic happened behind the scenes. Toy started out with the low-cost, budget gear that YouTubers recommended, make-shifting setups along the way to make it work. Step by step, he relentlessly invested in the craft, upgrading the gear and refining his techniques until he built a premium setup capable of delivering true, high-end professional products.

As the production value grew, so did the confidence in the storytelling. Toy realized that the real fulfillment wasn’t just about being in the spotlight anymore—it was the incredible feeling of stepping behind the camera and helping other people bring their own visions to life with absolute authority.
